Exporting a map

Data can be exported from the views and the data tables of CIS for use in standard desktop packages as Microsoft Word and Excel. In the example below, the user simply has to select the map view, select Edit…Copy from the menu and then paste the object into Word. It is important to be aware which window is active when copying information from CIS. The active window dictates what information will be copied.
