This section of the manual will explain the function of refining regions in CIS.
- Using the refining tools
Three simple examples have also been chosen. These are designed to familiarise the new user with the Refine Region dialogue box, and to demonstrate the use of some of the options.
- 'Replace with' - refine a region to two counties
- 'Limit to' - restrict a region to areas of deciduous woodland
- 'Remove' - remove a specific selection from a region.
